HEED FM was a public artwork by Garrett Phelan. Its first iteration was a 28-day anonymous sound broadcast portrait created through conversations with individuals and groups from all backgrounds aged 18–25 inhabiting Dublin. HEED FM carried an independent, temporary FM radio station license – broadcasting 24hrs a day from 22 October 22 – 28 November 2016.
I collaborated with Peter Maybury on the site design. Built at Fuel, the website included live 24hr streaming of audio content, 28 artworks which were displayed in rotation using an automated system. It was built with a customised content management system allowing the owners direct control over all content.
